This program connects final year (graduating) international students directly to the labour market, helping them to build valuable employment skills, workplace knowledge, and build meaningful and professional connections through networking and mentorship. The goal is to support international students to stay, live, and work in Prince Edward Island post-graduation. The program provides participants with skills, resources, and support that are essential as they transition from ‘student’ to ‘professional’. Participating students are provided with one-on-one enhanced and group supports throughout their final year of study in Prince Edward Island to ensure they gain the education, tools, support, and connections needed to launch a successful career and fulfilling life in Prince Edward Island. A managed mentorship component is an integral part of the program, providing opportunities for students to apply their learnings, build connections, and gain a deeper understanding of Prince Edward Island's workplace culture and labour market opportunities. The program focuses on: 1) Cultural and social adaptation 2) Professional communication 3) Career and labour market support 4) Networking and professional connections 5) Access to immigration resources and support and 6) Mentorship. Be prepared to give yourself time of approximately 30-60 minutes to complete your application. The Atlantic Canada Study and Stay™ Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Program is a collaborative initiative of International Education Newfoundland and Labrador (IENL), Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) and College of the North Atlantic (CNA). It is a free program offered to motivated international students in or entering their final year of full-time study in Newfoundland and Labrador who are committed to living, working, and contributing to communities in the province following their graduation. The program is designed to provide participants with valuable essential skills, resources, and support to help with the transition from student to business professional and budding entrepreneur. If you are interested in learning the fundamentals of professional skills, entrepreneurship and starting a business in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Atlantic Canada Study and StayTM NL Program is designed to help you through the process of identifying and discovering a business idea, building the foundational knowledge to pursue an opportunity as an entrepreneur, supporting the launch of a business opportunity, and becoming a successful professional. This province-wide program connects international students directly to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and to the labour market, helping participants to build valuable professional and entrepreneurship skills, gain workplace knowledge, and build meaningful connections through workshops, networking, and mentorship. The goal of the program is to support international students to stay, live, and work in Newfoundland and Labrador post graduation. The program is offered online and runs from April 1st until the end of June 2019. Program applicants must be currently registered as international students at one of the Memorial University or College of the North Atlantic campuses and be in or entering their final year of full-time study. Applicants are not required to have a business idea as the goal of the program is to help develop one, however, having a prior business idea would be considered an asset. Applicants without a prior business idea are certainly encouraged to apply. Admission to the program is a competitive process with only 50 seats per offering.

Étudier pour m’y établir au Canada atlantique🅪 – Nouveau-Brunswick est un programme de cohorte à l’échelle de la province qui relie les étudiants étrangers en dernière année (finissants) directement au marché du travail. Il les aide aussi à développer des compétences professionnelles utiles et à établir des relations significatives et professionnelles par le réseautage. Le programme vise à aider les étudiants étrangers à rester, à vivre et à travailler au Nouveau-Brunswick après l’obtention de leur diplôme. Il dote les participants des compétences, des ressources et du soutien qui sont essentiels à leur transition de qualité d’« étudiant » à la qualité de « professionnel ». Les étudiants participants bénéficient de mesures de soutien individuel et collectif améliorées tout au long de leur dernière année d’études au Nouveau-Brunswick pour voir à ce qu’ils acquièrent l’éducation, obtiennent le soutien et établissent les relations nécessaires pour réussir leur carrière et mener une vie gratifiante au Nouveau-Brunswick. Le réseautage et les relations professionnelles, offrant des possibilités aux étudiants d’appliquer leur apprentissage, d’établir des relations et de mieux comprendre la culture organisationnelle ainsi que les perspectives du marché du travail dans la province. Le programme met l’accent sur : • L’adaptation culturelle et sociale. • La communication professionnelle. • Un soutien relatif à la carrière et au marché du travail. • Le réseautage et les relations professionnelles. • Un accès aux ressources et au soutien relatifs à l’immigration.
